JAMES V. CÓRDOVA

James V. Córdova est un collaborateur de Andrew Christensen et de Niels Jacobson, il a participé à l’étude de validation de l’IBCT et à l’étude pilote de 1994. Son étude de 1998 a permis d’identifier l’évolution des marqueurs des comportements verbaux en cause dans les interaction destructrices à l’œuvre aussi bien dans le processus de polarisation des couples que dans le processus d’acceptation. Ces études ont mis en évidence le rôle du langage de l’acceptation comme un composant du processus thérapeutique spécifique à l’IBCT la différenciant de la TBCT, et source de son efficacité .[ Cordova, J.
